This is a place where you'll find game ideas, and general reminders for the Playground. For our first edition we are focusing on taking responsibility for creating a fun and safe environment.

Things we should keep in mind when people are playing on the playground

I know recess is usually the best part of the school day, you get to play with friebnds, play games and much more, but the fun can end pretty easily. How? Maybe with a push or a fight. 

Here are some things we should keep in minds: 

1. Understanding Rules

    Understanding rules is really important. Understanding HOW to follow them is WAY MORE important. I want you to imagine a way YOU can follow a rule! It would be showing RESPECT to your friends or a teacher. But HOW would you do that?

2, Being kind and respectful

    Do you know how people say "Treat others the way you want to be treated"? Well, that is what we are going to talk about! The saying means to BE KIND to people and they will be back. Also being respectful is a good idea. :-)

3. BOUNDARIES

    Boundaries are important! You need to understand boundaries that people have. If you break it, they could or would get REALLY mad or upset! So it's best if you don't bream 'em!

AND! Last but not least...

Jumping from high places

Jumping from high places on the climber or friendship is dangerous depending on the height. You can hurt yourself or your peers. It is good to keep in mind that we should go down the slide (on the friendship) and climb down slowly and calmly (when we are on the climbers).
