“Dig It!”

The musical “Dig It” on May 8th and 9th was incredible,

thanks to months of hard work and effort. Thank you to our

hardworking and kindhearted music teacher, Ms. Stecyk, and

thank you to our Mesopotamians, Romans, Skeletons, Ancient

Greeks, Empires of the East, and of course our Tuts, Takis, and

Lucys. You knocked it out of the park!

Thanks, junior division! And well done. I believe you made

Ms. Stecyk cry. Also, she is using the money from the ticket

sales to buy a full class set of ukuleles, in hard cases! Thanks

also to Jaime, our wonderful ukulele teacher we had such an

amazing ukulele year! Also a big shoutout to all the grade 4s,

5s, and 6s who helped with the props. Ms. Stecyk really

appreciated your help. There were about one million coins to

cut out, and paint. You did what it took to put on a great show!

Interview with Piano Player Campbell G.

Today we have interviewed Campbell Grant. Campbell has been playing the piano for years. If you like music or piano and want to know more about it make sure to ask Campbell!

Campbell has been playing for 4 years. Campbell is super talented, and his favorite music to listen to at home is thick rap. His favourite musician is Kendrick Lamar. Cambell likes to play the song Tum balalaika on the piano which is a slow but fast yiddish love song. Campbell has done 8 recitals where he performed in front of an audience. Why he is not on instagram, idk. Ask him.
